A chef who has worked at hotels across north Norfolk is opening his own bistro in Cromer.
Matt Gibson has taken on the former Henry's Coffee Shop & Kitchen premises in Chruch Street and along with his wife Emilie is transforming it into Gibson's Bistro.
The 44-year-old, who has worked at The Pheasant Hotel and The Feathers, wants to create a “homely and welcoming” place with a focus on local produce.
"The place is beautiful and we will be serving great, amazing local food,” the father-of-two said.
"It is all going to be built up by us and we are doing a lot of work to the venue.
"I will be carrying crab up the road from the seafront, getting meat from the butcher across the road and using a local baker as well as local businesses such as Marsh Pig Charcuterie.”

The bistro will be café-style during the day, offering coffee, cakes and scones, as well as charcuterie, brunch and lunch options, before turning into a restaurant in the evening with "relaxed dining".
Mr Gibson added: “We want to provide relaxed dining with a great atmosphere to come in however you want, it will be homely and welcoming.
"I have always had a dream to get something and here I am with the keys."
Henry's Coffee Shop & Kitchen announced its closure last month and owner Mel Benns said she was “really glad someone else was going to take over”.
Gibson's Bistro hopes to open its doors at the end of May.
