Murderers and drug dealers are among those jailed in Norfolk this month.

Ashley Fenn and Declan Crater

Ashley Fenn, 31 and of Knowland Grove in Norwich, and Declan Crater, 30 and of Marauder Road in Norwich, were arrested for being concerned in the supply of heroin and cocaine.

Fenn was found with £660 in cash while Crater had two phones which contained "drug dealing messages" linked to both heroin and cocaine.

Fenn was sentenced to three years in prison and Crater received a two-year sentence suspended for 18 months.

Leslie Menka and Adegoke Dada

Leslie Menka, 21 and of Finch Mews in London, and Adegoke Dada, 21 and of Lancaster Road in London, were jailed for conspiracy to supply heroin and crack cocaine.

In August of last year, they were arrested at properties in London. A number of phones were seized, as well as more than £2,000 cash and a train ticket from Norwich to Colchester.

Analysis of the phones seized revealed the two men had been using them for the sale and distribution of Class A drugs from London to Norwich.

Dada was sentenced to five years and Menka was sentenced to three years in prison.

Isaiah Lester and Muhamadu Conte

Isaiah Lester, 18 and of Cranberry Close in Ealing, and Muhamadu Conte, 20 and of Lancaster Drive in Havering, pleaded guilty to three counts of robbery and two counts of attempted robbery.

A number of teenagers were approached by the men in balaclavas who demanded their phones.

Conte was sentenced to 35 months in prison and Lester was sentenced to 31 months as well as another 18 months for an unrelated drug offence.

Nathan Sadik

Nathan Sadik, 25 and of Southall, was jailed for running the so-called ‘Simon’ mobile phone line between London and street dealers in Norwich and Great Yarmouth. 

During a three-month period between September and November last year, he was responsible for sending out more than 1,100 text messages offering drugs for sale.

Sadik was sentenced to five years in prison.

Christopher Coe

Christopher Coe, 38 and of Mere Street in Diss, pocketed customer payments while working as a nurse and receptionist at two Norfolk vets, stealing tens of thousands of pounds.

He contacted customers telling them to pay outstanding invoices into his personal bank account, with losses of more than £26,000.

Coe was jailed for 12 months.

Wayne Peckham and Riley Peckham

Wayne Peckham, 48, and his son Riley Peckham, 23, were found guilty of the murder of Matthew Rodwell, 39, after they found him at the Downham Market home of Wayne's wife and Riley's mother Kerry.

Wayne began "kicking, stamping and punching" Mr Rodwell, who was pronounced dead at the scene. He died as a result of strangulation.

Wayne Peckham was jailed for a minimum of 24 years while Riley Peckham received a minimum of 18 years.

Darren Humphries

Darren Humphries, 57 and of Newton Street in Newton St Faiths, stole more than £10,000 from the account of an elderly relative with Alzheimer's.

Together with his wife, he was given power of attorney over her elderly aunt's affairs in 2014 when she went into a care home with dementia.

Humphries secretly used a bank card to make regular £50 to £250 withdrawals from the aunt’s account over many years, even after the couple split up.

He was jailed for 12 months.

Jack Brennan

Jack Brennan, 29 and of Escourt Road in Attleborough, forced American teenage girls to send him degrading images of themselves posing as his 'sex slaves'.

He groomed a 15-year-old and 13-year-old from Montana and Oregon who he befriended on Snapchat.

He threatened to post the nude pictures in Facebook groups and send them to their parents unless they indulged his depraved fantasies. 

Another was threatened with paedophiles being sent to the home of a six-year-old relative unless she continued to send ever more degrading videos and pictures.

Brennan was jailed for 10 years.

Malcolm Appleby

Malcolm Appleby, of St Mary's Court in Middleton, was found guilty of sexual assault of a girl under 13 and intimidating a witness.

He took his 12-year-old victim on a rabbit shooting trip before plying her with "loads" of fizzy juice mixed with whisky and rum.

He then sexually assaulted her as she slept in a field.

Appleby was sentenced to 12 years in prison.

Dami Tobi Ayan

Dami Tobi Ayan, 62 and of Kensington Palace in Norwich, admitted ill-treatment or wilful neglect of a person without mental capacity.

Ayan was a carer for Ben "Buster" King, a man with Down's Syndrome and learning difficulties who he "man-handled", pushing and dragging him down by the arms before hitting his head with an open hand.

He was jailed for nine months.

Birute Klicneliene

Birute Klicneliene, 51 and of Gaywood Road in King's Lynn, was found guilty of the murder of Dace Kalkerte.

Ms Kalkerte died after sustaining 25 stabbing and other wounds in the unprovoked attack.

Clothing worn by Klicneliene had been covered in blood and her DNA was on the knife used. Blood smears on the bathroom door and around the bath suggested she had attempted to clean away evidence.

She was sentenced to 18 years in prison.
