A man is to stand trial next year accused of a number of child sex offences.

Oliver Arnold, 48, appeared at Norwich Crown Court having been charged with four counts of sexual activity with a child under 16 between August and December 2022.

He has also been charged with sexual communication with a child between June 2022 and February 2023.

Arnold, formerly of Wendling, near Dereham, but currently of Bell Hotel, Thetford, pleaded not guilty to all five counts when he appeared in court on Friday (April 28).

He will stand trial on May 13 next year.

A further case management hearing will be held on June 22.

Arnold, who wore a blue suit and tie as he appeared in the dock, was granted conditional bail.

Andrew Thompson appeared for the prosecution while Arnold was represented by Andrew Oliver.
