A four-year-old cockatiel is missing after getting caught in strong winds outside her home near Beccles.
Posey the cockatiel was on the shoulder of her owner Joy Grieve on April 22 when she was swept off by winds and unable to return.
Ms Grieve, 41, said: "She's an indoor bird so you kind of forget she's there.
"I was walking around the house and at some point she landed on my shoulder.
"Without thinking I opened the door and she got whisked off.
"It was really windy which she obviously isn't used to so I think she was too weak to fly against it.
"She was calling out and flapping around but couldn't come back. I'm guilt-ridden.
"I don't think she would have ever flown away of her own accord, she's so attached to me.
"Posey's four and we've had her three years. We thought we'd have her for 30."
The family has been out looking for Posey whenever they can, searching in the woods near their house in Ringsfield.
"I'm getting desperate. She's a tropical bird and it's so cold out there," said Ms Grieve.
"I've put flyers through all the doors near here and I've walked everywhere near here.
"I think if she just heard me, she'd come back.
"We're even playing cockatiel calls from our back door in the hope she'll hear it.
"She is so very missed by our family and we're offering a £300 reward for her safe return."
She's about the size of a thrush, four inches tall. She has a crest on her head that sometimes stands up.
Her body is mottled grey with pink feet but her head is yellow with orange cheeks.
