A north Norfolk beach has fully re-opened after a raw sewage spill.
Mundesley beach is open again after a section of the beach stretching south-east from the Anglian Water pumping station was closed last month.
North Norfolk District Council (NNDC) had urged people to stay away from an area of beach after being notified of an issue at the Anglian Water facility involving the release of untreated water onto the beach.
However, on the back of independent water and sand quality testing, which revealed satisfactory test results, the beach is now open again.

Emily Capps, assistant director for environmental and leisure services at NNDC, said: “We’re pleased that test results for Mundesley have come back to indicate it’s safe for our residents and visitors to access this part of Mundesley beach as it is an extremely popular beach.
"As a coastal authority, water quality along our beaches is of significant importance, we continue to work with partner agencies to ensure it is as high as possible.
"We appreciate the cooperation of Anglian Water, the Environment Agency and the UK Health Security Agency in addressing this incident.”
