A Norwich landmark will be taking centerstage for the county’s Coronation weekend, hosting a live-stream of the event.
Norwich Cathedral is throwing open its doors to everyone, inviting all to join in with the royal celebrations as the nation marks the Coronation of The King and The Queen Consort.
The Dean of Norwich, the Very Revd Dr Andrew Braddock, said everyone was looking forward to celebrating.
He added: “This is a moment to affirm the part we can all play in building up our common life as local communities and a nation.
“We look forward to welcoming people to our special services and events across the Coronation weekend.”
The cathedral will be live-streaming in the Nave the BBC coverage of both the Coronation at Westminster Abbey and the concert at Windsor Castle.
There will also be a special Service of Thanksgiving at Norwich Cathedral followed by drinks and a jazz quartet in the Cloister.

And throughout the Coronation weekend, visitors will be able to enjoy beautiful displays created by the Cathedral’s Flower Guild decorating the cathedral for the historic occasion.
The key details of the Coronation weekend at Norwich Cathedral are:
- Friday, May 5
The Cathedral’s Choral Evensong with special prayers for Their Majesties at 5.30pm
- Saturday, May 6
The BBC coverage of the Coronation service at Westminster Abbey will be live-streamed in the Nave from 11am.
- Sunday, May 7
A Service of Prayer and Thanksgiving with the Bishop of Norwich, Norwich Cathedral Choir, and the African Choir of Norfolk from 10.30am. Followed by drinks and a jazz quartet in the Cathedral Cloister.
Special Festal Evensong with the Dean of Norwich and the Cathedral Choir at 3.30pm.
The BBC coverage of the Coronation concert at Windsor Castle will be live-streamed in the Nave throughout the evening.
