When it's spring again, I'll bring again, tulips from King's Lynn.
Norfolk's tulip fields are set to open on Thursday, with a dazzling display of blooms.
All 15,000 tickets for the event, in aid of the Norfolk Hospice, sold out within hours of going on sale. Some 80,000 applied for them.
Roydon Hall Farms, near Sandringham, has planted an 18-acre field with the colourful flowers.
Lindsey Atkin, community and corporate fundraising manager with the Hillington-based hospice, said: "There's 9,250,000 - give or take one or two."
She added the flowers would be cut down after the end of the event, on May 8.
The bulbs then go into storage, before being planted in the autumn to provide next year's supply of flowers to supermarkets and other outlets.
All proceeds from ticket sales fund the work of the nine-bed hospice, which costs more than £3m a year to run.
Last year's event raised more than £90,000. There are hopes this year's show will eclipse that figure.
