A woman has been left horrified after finding a pile of birds in a churchyard which had been shot dead.
The woman, who does not want to be named, found the dead birds while walking with her husband in the grounds of St Peter and St Paul's Church in Swaffham.
She was alarmed to see that three ducks and two pigeons had been left dead on the ground with bullet holes clearly showing they had been shot.

"Ducks have been a part of Swaffham for more than 50 years and most people look out for them," she said.
"I'm guessing from things I have seen online that some people now just don't seem to like ducks being in town.
"There were three dead ducks a few weeks ago at the church gates and the ones I found had bullet holes in them."

Police recorded the incident as happening between April 22 and 25. Swaffham's local police officer is linking it to previous cases in the town.
The whereabouts and motives of the 'duck serial killer' have not been established.
Investigations are still ongoing and anyone with information has been asked to contact the wildlife crime team on 101.
