A food bar in the heart of the Norfolk Broads offers a slice of something different, with takeaway carveries served seven days a week.

Oh Crumbs is located along Norwich Road in Hoveton and it was opened by couple Jayson and Christine Spooner in April 2017.

As the pair celebrate the sixth anniversary of the business, they have looked back on its humble beginnings.

Mrs Spooner said: "We got the keys two weeks before opening day with a huge amount of work to do and then on the first day we took £9.87 - I wondered if we had done the wrong thing!”

But fast forward to 2023 and the business has become a Norfolk Broads favourite with locals and holidaymakers alike.

It serves a takeaway hot carvery in either a baguette, bap or giant Yorkshire pudding alongside breakfasts, salads, sandwiches and drinks.

The pair are helped by children Jake, Jayde and Jayden and they have new menu items planned this year.

Mrs Spooner added: "We can't wait for summer - the change in the weather brings out the best of the Broads."
