An "absolute sweetheart" dog is longing for her forever home after being kept in a crate most of the time, before a long stint in a Norfolk rescue centre.

12-year-old American bulldog Bow has been in the care of PACT Animal Sanctuary for over a year now.

She is longing for her forever home after coming into the centre due to her reactiveness with other dogs on walks.

A spokeswoman for PACT, said: "Beautiful Bow is a sweet girl who is playful, bouncy and wiggles as soon as she sees you. She has a happy, playful personality.

"She is an absolute sweetheart and gives the best cuddles.

"She loves human attention and is an A* student in agility training and she is getting much better with other dogs.

"This girl is loved by everyone who meets her and we really think she will make someone's best friend for life."

She isn't too interested in toys and much prefers human interaction.

She loves agility and having a job to do, whether it be following basic training commands or learning a new trick.

Bow would be happiest as an only pet with no young children and with owners who are willing to put in lots of time and work with her.
