A mother duck has been quacking with joy after being reunited with her brood that became stranded after getting stuck down a drain.
A Norfolk Fire Service crew sprung to action on Sunday (April 23) to help the feathered flock in Heacham after being contacted by the RSPCA.
The team used a bucket and line to rescue the 11 ducklings from the drain in Blatchford Way.

The wayward baby birds had likely wandered from the nearby duck pond in Staithe Road before getting stuck.
It took more than an hour for them to be raised from the depths of the dark and dingy drain to the surface.
All the flock were accounted for and handed back into the care of their mother, who marched them back to the safety of their home.
