Large numbers of emergency services personnel are on the scene in Banham after reports of an illegal rave in the village.
Fire crews from East Harling, Attleborough and Diss were called there at 8.47am on Sunday, April 23 to assist the police.
Local reports suggest the rave was held at an abattoir in the village.
Jeff Burrell, the Parish Council Chair said: "I drove past at about 11am this morning, police were standing off at a safe distance but there were still people outside the abattoir.
"They were smoking and drinking but there wasn't any sign of trouble or problems. There were around six police cars and a dozen police personnel standing back from the revellers."
Reports of cars racing up and down the road and people being kept awake have been posted on social media.
