A Norfolk man proved he was a cut above the rest after his stunning salon transformation earned him a spot in the Interior Design Masters final. 

The BBC competition show sees designers from across the UK compete to win a major contract, which this year will be a high-end bar.

The series started with 10 contestants, but in Tuesday night's semi-final episode (April 18) three became two ahead of the final next week.

Norfolk's Jack Kinsey will now compete against Monika Charchula to win the contract, which will see them tasked with revamping pubs in Brighton.

Mr Kinsey, 27, who lives near Hingham, has been a firm favourite since the start for his classic style and homemade creations, including his hot air balloons in nursery week.

The former Stalham High School pupil purchased a derelict chapel in Norfolk four years ago, which he has converted with his boyfriend Alex.

The show is presented by comedian Alan Carr and judged by interiors guru Michelle Ogundehin.

The final airs on Tuesday, April 25 at 8pm on BBC One.
