From a jam-packed programme of events to a revamped social club, this Norfolk market town is certainly on the rise.
Hingham, located just off the A11 near Attleborough, boasts good transport links with easy access to Norwich.
But people are now specifically travelling to visit Hingham and it has become one of the most desirable places to live in the county.
Here are five reasons why Hingham is on the rise:
1. Hingham 1940s Weekend
Tom Matthew set up Apollo Events during the pandemic to put south Norfolk on the map for entertainment.
He has a whole host of festivals and fairs planned for Hingham this year, including the 1940s Weekend on May 20 and 21, complete with an RAF flypast of a Lancaster Bomber, and a classic car show on June 25.

2. New monthly farmers' market
Norfolk Farmers Market was launched by Donna Mackenzie in October 2022 and it supports local producers and makers, with events in small towns and villages across the county.
Hingham is one of the locations and markets take place once a month from 9am until 3pm.
3. Revamped social club
Hingham Sports and Social Club is currently undergoing a big revamp and has been renamed Abraham's Bar and Club House to tie in with the local links to the 16th president of the United States.
The revamped bar, which will be open to all, will feature fresh furniture, flooring and a cosy lounge area, with new beers from Lacons Brewery.
4. The White Hart
The White Hart pub and boutique hotel is at the heart of the community and offers a warm welcome for both two and four-legged visitors.
As well as a tasty menu, which includes curries, fish and chips and some of the best burgers in the area, a running club brings punters together.
