A man was disarmed and arrested following a robbery at a corner shop in Great Yarmouth.
Police were called on Monday, April 10 at 7.53pm after reports a man had entered Crown Stores, Crown Road, Great Yarmouth, and demanded cigarettes and alcohol while in possession of a firearm.
A man in his 40s was disarmed and detained in the shop and later arrested by police at the scene.
After closer inspection, the firearm was identified as a BB gun.
The incident may be linked to an incident earlier in the day, where police attended reports of a man with a weapon at a property in North Drive, Great Yarmouth.
Despite extensive enquiries the man was not located.
