A 24-hour gym in Great Yarmouth has celebrated its first year in the town.

NR (New Revolution) Health and Fitness opened the site of the former Fitness 2000 on Southtown Road on April 1, 2022.

Since that time, the gym has seen a total overhaul in equipment, 24-hour access and exclusive members' nights.

Club manager Vincent Willard said the key to NR Health and Fitness' success is their personal approach.

"The biggest thing we offer is the personal touch and we are a relationship-based gym," Mr Willard said.

"To us, it's not just a transaction and off you go. We look after people and it's a community rather than just a membership.

"It's been an exciting year, and we are going in the right direction for what NR represents.

"We can only thank our members for their continued support, and we look forward to the rest of 2023."

The Southtown Road site is one of six NR gyms across Norfolk and Suffolk owned by Nathan Gostling. The other clubs are Attleborough, Dereham, Lowestoft, Watton and Wymondham.
