A Norfolk village could get eight new homes aimed at helping locals get onto the housing ladder.
Richard and Fran Johnson have applied for outline permission to develop land off the A1101 near the village hall at Three Holes, near Upwell, with two to four-bedroom houses.
They say: "The proposal will provide much needed modest two and three-bedroom homes to help people get on the housing ladder.
"Two of the dwellings, both three-bedroomed, will be adaptable and accessible and so suitable for older or disabled occupants.

"The four-bedroom dwellings will help to meet the needs of larger households, such as families with children.
"It also provides wider scope for home working, especially in light of the Covid-19 pandemic and changes in work practices. The smaller homes such as the two two-bedroomed semis will help people to get onto the housing ladder."
It adds the development will also provide badly-needed extra parking for the village hall.
It says it will have "a range of benefits and will result in very little harm" to the village.
A decision is expected from West Norfolk council later this year.
