A town named the best in Norfolk is becoming a hotspot for wood-fired pizza, with several places now offering the Italian dish.
Aylsham, which was recently declared the best place to live in Norfolk by Muddy Stilettos magazine, has just seen the opening of Stamp pizza in the former post office.
The restaurant joins The Proper Pizza Co and Lawless Pizza in the town alongside a host of other independent foodie spots.
And Michael Law, a former chef at The Anchor in Mortson who launched Lawless Pizza in 2020, said the firm’s following is now growing as he decided to focus on trade in Aylsham.

"We live in Aylsham so I decided to focus on getting a local following there,” he said. “The whole thing took off and people seem to love the pizzas."
Lawless offers 10-inch wood-fired pizzas which are made with hand-stretched dough and come with classic toppings such as spicy salami, anchovy and roasted vegetables.
Mr Law preps all the dough and ingredients from scratch, using locally sourced and bespoke Italian ingredients.

He said: “I'm pleased it’s continued to grow in terms of bookings and we've got a lot more sites we serve now – the summer is our busiest time.
“We do campsites, weddings, and parties as well as shoots in the winter months.
"In terms of the future, I’d like to achieve some financial investment so the business can grow and eventually roll out to a wider area, without compromising on quality.
“I like the idea of making my own Lawless ice cream and sauces, too."
Lawless serves its pizzas in Market Place in Aylsham on Fridays and at Reepham’s Market Square on Saturdays, both from 5pm to 8pm.
