A new Norwich Market food stall has opened, offering fried chicken, crispy pork belly and other carnivorous classics.

The outlet, Meat and Co, is run by the same team which already operates another, Fresh, which is located opposite.

Tasty dishes on the new menu include a fried chicken bucket, or a BBQ chicken bucket and roasted pork belly with crispy crackling.

All options are served with French fries, Cajun potato wedges or spiced rice and a choice of dip.

Customers can also get a Burger Box, which has a sesame seed bun, fried chicken fillet, lettuce and mayo. Sides in the box include french fries or chicken nuggets.

The team hopes to expand the options on offer as the stall grows and will branch out to beef options such as barbecue pot ribs.

Nid, who runs the stores, said: "This is different from our other stall as we are contrasting our Asian fusion style food on our other stand.

"It's something we don't have on the market at the moment as there isn't really a fried chicken-based stall here."

"We're really excited to offer our KFC-inspired dishes and it's something completely different from what we've done before."

They are also excited to reopen their Fresh smoothie stand when the weather gets better and continue serving their loyal customers.
