Reports of a fire and people trespassing in a derelict hotel sparked an emergency response in Great Yarmouth.
Norfolk Police were called to the Star Hotel on Hall Quay at 5pm on Tuesday, March 28, following reports of young people on the second floor and a fire in the building.
Officers then alerted the fire service who arrived at the scene just after 5pm.
Appliances from Great Yarmouth, including the aerial ladder platform, and Gorleston, attended the blaze.

Crews wore breathing apparatus and used main jets and hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
The fire was extinguished by 5.55pm and a thermal imaging camera was used to check for hot spots.

Since the hotel closed in March 2020, it has seen several fires including a suspected arson attack in August 2022.
Great Yarmouth Borough Council (GYBC) is seeking legal advice to determine the future of the Grade II-listed building.
Previously, the council said it has contacted the owner and has "engaged with them about bringing the property back into use".
