A new eco-friendly cafe is opening on the coast with plans for a summer beer garden.
SUP Shack, a rental paddleboarding company in Sheringham, is expanding into the shop next door for a new cafe Salt.
Co-owner Sol Lowe said: "We've been doing SUP for the last few years and the owners of the cafe had said they weren't sure if they wanted to stay on.
"We said we might be interested and a month later we were signing the contracts.
"It really fits the vibe down here and because it's next door people can come in and have a coffee after they've been paddleboarding."
Salt will have both hot and cold drinks as well as pastries and cakes on offer.
Mr Lowe said: "We're going to try and keep our suppliers in-county. Our baked goods, coffee and ice cream are all from Norfolk businesses."
Cafe manager Isobel Spencer said: "And when the bar opens it would be nice to have as many local breweries and spirits in as possible.
"It would be great to be eco-friendly too as we're right on the seafront - like using biodegradable cups and running beach cleans."
And they already have big summer plans for the cafe.
Miss Spencer said: "In May we're hoping to open a bar on the sun deck for the summer.
"It would be great to get more young people down here. We'd love to have live music and events.
"A couple of things have opened in the town recently for that demographic so hopefully we can get more young people in Sheringham."
Salt in the Promenade is opening on March 29 and, weather-permitting, will be open everyday from 8am to 4pm. Opening times may change in the summer.
