A town's court and police station have been sold at auction to a mystery buyer.
Wisbech's former magistrates' court and the town's current police station, next to the Freedom Bridge Roundabout, have gone under the hammer.
Auctioneers Maxey Grounds said the building, which was expected to fetch £150,000, had “potential for a range of business, leisure or storage uses”.
Now the firm has confirmed it sold for £166,000, but added it could not disclose the buyer and did not know what they intended to use it for.

Magistrates heard their last case in the wood-panelled courtroom in 2011, when the court was one of a number to close in a government cost-cutting drive.
But the police station which occupies two floors of the building is still operational.
When details of the auction were made public Cambridgeshire Police said it had no plans to relocate.
The force occupies the building on a long-term lease at a rent of £1 per year until 2094.
