The restaurant at a Norfolk airfield is reaching new heights with a fresh menu and look under its new operator.
The Liberator Restaurant, formerly Jimmy's Café, launched at Old Buckenham Airfield, near Attleborough, at the beginning of January this year and it is open to the public.
The space is now being rented by chef James Newstead, 31, from Ashwellthorpe, and it is currently open from 9am until 4pm Friday to Sunday, which will extend in the summer.
On offer are breakfasts and lunches utilising local produce, including meats from Farmer Barnes' Butchery in Hethersett and he forages for items such as mushrooms and herbs.

The lunch menu features classic British dishes such as a beef stew with dumplings and shepherd's pie, with roast dinners served on Sundays.
His sister Ellen Newstead, who runs the online business Smash Cake Bakery, makes all of the sweet treats offered at The Liberator Restaurant and she also attends farmers' markets across Norfolk.
Mr Newstead said: "I've always wanted to have my own restaurant and be my own boss.
"We have been very popular and on Sundays have been slammed all day for our roasts.

"Being at the airfield, I have also catered for the RAF and the French ambassador too."
It will be a bumper year for the airfield, with the Red Arrows confirmed to appear at the Old Buckenham Airshow, running from July 29 to 30, and Mr Newstead is looking forward to being involved.
Since taking the space on, he has given it a refresh and there is some outdoor seating too.
Mr Newstead added: "Come and visit as it is proper British food with nothing out of a packet and everything made fresh."
