The three-day Steam Gala running on a Norfolk heritage railway this spring will feature two famous engines.
The event will run along the North Norfolk Railway, between Sheringham and Holt, from Friday, April 14 until Sunday, April 16 2023.
It will feature five locomotives, including two special guest engines that have not visited the line before.
The first is the express passenger locomotive No. 34028 “Eddystone”, built in 1946 to work some of the Southern Railway’s most prestigious trains.

The second is No. 401 “Vulcan” – a robust saddle tank locomotive that saw service at some of Britain’s largest industrial plants, including the giant Port Talbot steelworks and the Longbridge car factory.
Three of the railway's resident locomotives will also be in action and there will be entertainment too.
Graham Hukins, the commercial manager, said: "We're looking forward to having two such different visiting engines to the gala and the pair will help us demonstrate a wide variety of trains."
Tickets cost from £25 to £60 and are available online.
