A housebuilder is offering buyers in Norfolk a £20,000 interior design package - and the advice of an expert designer - if they reserve a new home before the end of the month.
The offer is available with The Hill Group until March 31, 2023 and applies to select properties at its Heartwood development in Docking.
The package will include a budget of up to £20,000 and will allow buyers the chance to work with Juliette Hopkins of Norfolk design house Studio Fleur.
“I’m delighted to be working with The Hill Group to support and enrich the moving process for new residents by helping to plan the interior of their new home,” she says.
“When you move into a new property, it’s like having a blank canvas brimming with potential!
“I have been lucky enough to work on a number of interior design projects for many new build properties across East Anglia over the years, but I have never encountered an incentive like this one - this really is a fantastic opportunity for buyers to create their very own design that is completely exclusive to them.
“The concept of the package is to give new homeowners at Heartwood the gift of £20,000 to elevate their interiors as soon as they move in. The process will take place in several stages to ensure each client can curate an interior they love.
“Firstly, I [will] talk to the new residents and get under the skin of their desired interior vibe for their new property.
“Using this, I will then go on to create individual A3 mood boards for each client which give an idea of the flow of the house and how this can work with their wish list. The boards include each aspect of the interior scheme, from furniture, lighting, and colours to textures and materials.
"Along with these, clients will also receive hand-drawn room layouts to help them visualise the overall finished result.”
Curating mood boards and layouts can be a lengthy process, Juliette adds, particularly when trying to decide on a vision.
“I [will] then order all the components of the finished design and coordinate the delivery and installation of all the pieces.
“This practical element of the process is almost as important as the creative side. Moving home can be one of the most stressful events in our lives, by sorting out these arrangements on behalf of the client means we can help make their move as seamless as possible.”
Juliette’s design ethos centres around wellbeing, and she believes in the positive effect good interior design can have on the mental health of residents.
“I have always had a natural interest in how a good home environment can give us all a sensation of contentment and enhance positive emotions,” she says. “This is perhaps one of the most rewarding aspects of my job.”
Hill is hosting an open weekend on Saturday, March 25 and Sunday, March 26 for potential purchasers to find out more about the offer and see the homes at Heartwood.
