A popular bakery in Wymondham is on the rise as plans are unveiled for a Norwich expansion.
Loaf Microbakery was opened by couple Clare and Oliver Brown in Middleton Street in the town in early 2021.
During the pandemic, the couple began delivering sourdough locally after converting their garage into a production space at their Great Hockham home.
The business then expanded into the Wymondham shop due to high demand.
The pair have now announced that they are opening a second Loaf Microbakery in Norwich at 15 Dove Street, in the former home of Jane Richards Interiors, in early April.
While it will mainly operate as a takeaway, with coffee on offer too, there will be some seating.
Mrs Brown said: "We want our space to have the same feel as Wymondham and to be a neighbourhood bakery hub where everyone feels welcome.
"We already have customers that travel to our Wymondham bakery from Norwich."
Everything is suitable for vegans and as well as sourdough loaves, bagels and baguettes there will treats including doughnuts, filled focaccia and cinnamon buns.
