The likely next Lord Mayor and Sheriff of Norwich have been revealed.
Liberal Democrat Norwich city councillor James Wright has been put forward to be Lord Mayor for the 2023/24 civic year.
At the same time, Dr Jan Sheldon, chief executive officer of homeless charity St Martins Housing Trust, is set to take up the role of sheriff.

Mr Wright has been a councillor for 13 years and chaired the scrutiny committee since 2014.
He will replace Dr Kevin Maguire, who has been mayor for two terms.
At a council meeting on Tuesday, Alan Waters, the Leader of the council, said he was “delighted” to recommend Mr Wright for the role.
Gail Harris, the deputy leader, nominated Ms Sheldon.
She said: “I know that Jan will be a fine ambassador who will enjoy the networking and bring a wealth of experience to the role.”
The appointments will need to be ratified at the council's annual meeting at the end of May.
Norwich is one of only 25 UK cities to appoint a Lord Mayor and one of 15 towns and cities to appoint a Sheriff.
