A motorcyclist has died in a two-vehicle crash on the A47.

The collision happened on the A47 at East Tuddenham at 8.34am this morning (March 15) and involved a black Iveco light goods vehicle and a red Yamaha motorbike in the Dereham-bound lane.

Emergency services attended and the motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, was  pronounced dead at the scene.

The road was closed in both directions between the Hockering junction and Mattishall roundabout but re-opened this afternoon. 

The driver of the LGV, a man in his 30s, was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of drugs.

He was taken to Wymondham Police Station for questioning.
