Take a trip down the yellow brick road as a new production of The Wizard of Oz is heading to the city.

The show will be at Norwich Theatre Royal from February 27 until March 3 2024 and it is going on a UK tour following a run at the London Palladium from June until September this year.

The West End cast includes Diversity's Ashley Banjo as The Tin Man, comedian Jason Manford as The Cowardly Lion and all-round entertainer Gary Wilmot as The Wizard and Professor Marvel.

However, the cast is yet to be announced for the UK tour dates. 

The musical will feature the original score from the Oscar-winning MGM film, including Over The Rainbow, Follow The Yellow Brick Road and We’re Off To See The Wizard.

There will be additional songs from Andrew Lloyd Webber, behind this new adaptation with Jeremy Sams, and Tim Rice.
