A restaurant serving Sri Lankan dishes has opened in a farm shop in north Norfolk.

Noah’s has launched in the Groveland Farm Shop in Roughton and will be serving Sunday lunches, breakfasts and sweet treats.

Vegetarian and vegan options will also be on the menu alongside a specials board offering Sri Lankan-style breakfasts.

Mr Jayasinghe said: “I used to work in Norfolk as a chef so it wasn’t hard to adjust to having a restaurant.

“The hardest thing was getting the restaurant ready, painting the inside and getting all the food together but I’m really happy with the result.”

Mr Jayasinghe is hoping to start serving afternoon teas and grazing boxes which will be available for takeaway.

The restaurant is open from Tuesday to Sunday between 9 am and 4 pm and Amma’s Kitchen will be back on the road in April.
