City Hall has revealed who will be appointed its new chief executive.
Louise Rawsthorne, who has headed up the council resident-facing services since April 2021, is expected to take over the top job at Norwich City Council in an interim capacity.
The announcement comes as the current £156,000-a-year chief, Stephen Evans prepares to leave the authority later this month.
Ms Rawsthorne is expected to take over the top job - which involves being the council’s key policy adviser - on March 25.

Councillors are being asked to ratify the appointment at a meeting on Tuesday evening.
While she is in the chief executive role her current responsibilities as executive director of community services will be split between two other members of staff.
Her salary as interim chief has not been revealed but councillors are also being asked to approve the authority’s pay policy for the upcoming year at Tuesday’s meeting.
If approved, from March 31 it would set the role’s pay between £135,446 and £147,408.
Mr Evans is leaving for a similar role at the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead Council.
