The Met Office has issued a weather warning as "strong and gusty" winds are set to hit Norfolk.

The yellow warning for wind, which is in place between 10am and 6pm today (March 13), covers the south of the country.

According to the Met Office, people in Norfolk can expect to experience some delays to road, rail and air transport.

It is also likely that some bus and train services will be affected by the winds and there is the possibility of delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges.

The East of England Ambulance Service has advised people to "wrap up warm and take care when out and about".

It comes after gusts of 51mph hit parts of Norfolk last week and the county saw wintry showers.
