As snow fell in north Norfolk on Friday a driver captured the amazing moment a huge deer herd sprang and sprinted across a rural road.
In the video, dozens of the animals race across the road, stopping oncoming traffic for about 30 seconds.
A single deer can be seen poking its head out of the hedgerow checking for cars before suddenly the large pack follows it to the other side.
The moment was captured by Bacton Coastguard rescue officer Pete Revell on March 10 as his team were on their way to Sea Palling to patrol the area after the recent bad weather.
Mr Revell said: "After the recent storms we were on our way to patrol and check the cliffs when suddenly we were forced to stop.
"The herd ran across the field and then the road, stopping traffic. Luckily we were right at the front so got to enjoy the amazing sight."

Some deer sprang across the road while others charged across.
After the main pack reached the other side the herd begins to thin before one final straggler made its way across.
The deer likely came from the nearby Calthorpe Nature Reserve and woods.
Norfolk has a large deer population with a number of different species living in the area, including Red Deer, Fallow Deer, Chinese Water Deer and Muntjac.
