Children in a village on the edge of Norwich are set to get a new playground to enjoy thanks to funding generated from house building.
The project at Jubilee Park in Rackheath will see the removal of the toddler area's maze and the green rotator dish in the junior area.
There will also be new seating added throughout.
The project for the Wiloughby Road park, next to Rackheath Primary School, is the first phase in plans to improve play provision in the community.
It is planned that the equipment will be provided by Playdale including a snake swing, climbing area and slide, activity frame and team swing.
More than £120,000 will be funnelled into giving the area a new lease of life, which is close to a new estate that families are moving in to.
A second phase, to revamp Stracey Playing Field, is due to start next month.
Both projects are funded by money from Section 106 - housing developers' contributions towards the costs of providing community and social infrastructure.
Fran Whymark, parish councillor for Rackheath and Broadland district councillor said: "There are benefits to development, which comes in the form of cash we can turn into new facilities for younger people which is fantastic.
"It's a significant development for Rackheath that we're pleased to be on the receiving end of.

"It needs a facelift and some more up-to-date equipment and luckily we now have the opportunity to do that.
"We need to get the best out of it that we can. We'll get more Section 106 money over the years and we'll ensure other areas of the village are improved - that's what it's all about."
Rackheath is currently seeing a housing boom, with thousands of homes either being built or earmarked to be built in the years ahead.
"Jubilee Park is at the heart of the village and is well-used, and hopefully that will continue," Cllr Whymark added.
"It's right next to the school and you know it's going to get good use."
