He used to serve coffee from the side of a horse box, and now barista Arron Smith has moved into a brick-and-mortar shop.
And Mr Smith said he was delighted with the success so far of Coffeesmiths, which opened in North Walsham’s Market Place in mid-December.
He said: “North Walsham is a great place to do business and the Market Place is a really beautiful location, the window seating is very popular.”
Mr Smith has been working in the coffee industry for 10 years, but it was not until 2021 that he converted a rice horse box into a mobile coffee shop, serving coffee sourced from Scottow across East Anglia.
He also serves cakes baked in Hevingham and pastries from Norwich.
Mr Smith said: “It’s important to me that I use local suppliers.
“I have to thank my customers for their incredible support so far and their feedback on what food and drinks they want."
Lucy Shires, chair of North Walsham Business Partnership, said "This is the third new business to open recently, all of which have successfully attracted new customers into our high street."
