To celebrate British Pie Week, which runs from March 6 to 12, we have rounded up some of the best places to enjoy the hearty dish in Norfolk.
1. Flaming Galah
Where: 123 Ber Street, Norwich, NR1 3EY
A Norwich institution, this Australian-inspired takeaway offers handmade pies, with the fillings ranging from traditional to more experimental options.

It regularly offers specials and for British Pie Week there is a Paddington-inspired one, with roasted pulled marmalade and wholegrain mustard gammon.
2. Three Horseshoes
Where: 69 The Street, Warham, NR23 1NL
This hidden gem in north Norfolk is the perfect place for a cosy lunch or getaway as it also boasts bedrooms.
The pub is known for its top-notch pies, ranging from beef and Binham blue cheese to wild mushroom, walnut and stout, which can be washed down with a local ale.
3. The Crown at Trunch
Where: Front Street, Trunch, North Walsham, NR28 0AH
This fantastic pub has given pies a modern twist and as well as classics you can also get fillings such as chicken katsu or seafood, with vegan and gluten-free options too.
To celebrate British Pie Week, all pies are £10 from March 6 to 12.
4. The Rumsey Wells
Where: 4 St Andrews Street, Norwich, NR2 4AF
Enjoy a pint and pie at this pub packed with character in the heart of Norwich, with regular live music and quiz nights too.

The menu is made up of Pieminister pies, with the option to add mash and mushy peas.
5. The Ffolkes
Where: Lynn Road, Hillington, King's Lynn, PE31 6BJ

This recently revamped pub hosts the Pie Kitchen from 5pm to 8pm Monday to Thursday and 6pm to 8pm on Sundays.
From 12noon to 6pm on Sunday there is also the Pie Feast with unlimited mini pies.
