The 2005 Renault Clio Sport V6 255 Phase II is up for auction for £80,000-£90,000 at Anglia Car Auctions.

A collector's item, which drove off out of the factory in 2005 and sold for £25,995, the car has done just 1,872 miles after spending most of its life in a garage.

The "stunning" car is in pristine condition having spent between 2013 and 2021 off the road, according to the MOT history.

"An absolute timewarp car", there is a Renault Accident Management Pack included, with a disposable camera, pen, crayon and torch.

Head of department for the classic cars at Anglia Car Auctions, Guy Snelling, said: "We are expecting some very good interest.

"It is pretty much unique as it has only had one owner who has kept it in good condition and only done a few miles.

"I have known the car from new - he took me out in it the year he bought it, so I have known it from the start. Just one owner is very rare.

"The colour is fantastic, a lovely bright blue, and the V6 engine sits just behind the driver and the passenger.

"They made a Phase one and two, but it is the Phase two which is more desirable as it is the better car and more powerful. A completely wonderful bit of kit."

The current MoT is valid until February 2024. Documentation with the vehicle includes the current and past V5Cs, and original purchase correspondence including the original bill.

The car will be up for auction live on April 1 and 2, with the option to bid online and over the phone.
