Temperatures are predicted to drop to -8C this week amid a Met Office warning for snow and severe cold weather.
An arctic blast is to hit Norfolk tonight and is expected to continue until Wednesday.
A yellow weather warning for snow and ice has been issued and warns of widespread disruption to travel and dangerous icy conditions.
It is in place from 9pm today (March 6) until 10am tomorrow (March 7) and covers central and southern parts of Norfolk.

The Met Office has also upgraded its cold weather alert to Level 3, the second highest, with the subzero temperatures posing health risks to the vulnerable.
Widespread frosts are predicted overnight and it is thought temperatures will struggle to rise above freezing during the day.
The Met Office predicts lows of -8C in parts of Norfolk, particularly in west Norfolk.
Meteorologist Dan Holley has said rainfall on Monday evening is expected to turn to sleet and snow overnight.
Further wintry showers are predicted for Norfolk into Tuesday before clearing on Wednesday.
The Met Office has warned that March could see similar weather conditions that led to the 'Beast from the East' in 2018, caused by a major Sudden Stratospheric Warming.
