What could be a better way to finish the week than with a Sunday roast and all the trimmings?
From a city pub to a coastal carvery, these are the best roast dinners our journalists have had in Norfolk.
1. The Earle Arms, Heydon
Donna-Louise Bishop said: "There's a reason this pub appears on almost every foodie list, and that is because it's stunning and well worth the visit.
"The dinners come with huge chunks of tasty meat, a delicious selection of vegetables, and gravy to die for.
"The view from the historic building across the village green is rather lovely too."
2. The Farmers, Ormesby St Margaret
Louisa Baldwin said: "This pub serves roast dinners as you would enjoy them at home with all the family, with the meat and Yorkshire pudding served individually but the trimmings stacked high on a sharing board.
"This includes roast potatoes, parsnips, cauliflower cheese, mixed greens, roasted beetroot, carrots and a jug of gravy. "
3. The Plough Inn, Marsham
Georgie Taylor said: "Not only is the meal well worth the price tag but who can resist delicious cauliflower cheese with their roast?
"It is as filling and yummy as it is pleasing to the eye with three options on a rotating menu.
"All the roasts come with Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes and seasonal veg."
4. Red Lion Bishopgate, Norwich
Maya Derrick said: "The polenta roast is one of the best I've ever had.
"Moist but oozing with texture, it balanced flavour and feel which is something often missing in veggie and vegan roast options.
"The cauliflower cheese also deserves a big shout-out. Others in my party confirmed that the chicken supreme roast was top-notch."
5. Temple Bar, Norwich
Owen Sennitt said: "Temple Bar has great options for vegans and vegetarians such as the veggie loaf.
"It is always a delicious and hearty meal with lots of meat options, sides and desserts."
6. Burgh Hall, Great Yarmouth
James Weeds said: "The warm welcome, variety of food and the price make Burgh Hall well worthy of a return.
"I had beef, gammon and turkey with thick and creamy cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes and parsnips. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned well.
"Burgh Hall also offers pies and vegetarian lasagne, as well as a veggie toad-in-the-hole."
7. Blues Kitchen at the Rosebery, Norwich
Ed Dewulf-Peters said: "This is honestly the best roast dinner on offer in the city but you've got to book well ahead to get a space, especially on Sundays.
"The slow-roasted beef melts in the mouth and the honeyed vegetables are some of the best I've ever had."
