The famous ice cream boat on the Norfolk Broads has a sweet new addition for the 2023 season.

The Ice Cream Float is run by Pam Robinson, who took on the eye-catching pink boat in September 2022.

It was previously called Michelangelos and was run by Michael and Angie Pilgrim for three years.

Ms Robinson, who also runs Broadland Charters, is currently revamping the boat and it will be back running at the end of March or early April.

The main area she covers is the northern Broads south of Horning on the River Bure and up the River Ant.

As well as local ice creams, she is expanding the offering to include treats from The Fudge Lady, which is based in Neatishead and run by Rachel Townshend.

Ms Robinson said: "Her fudge has a great following and is delicious -  it will also be great as a gift to take home.

"Everyone loves the boat and the sound of it coming down the river - it is an icon of the Broads."
