The owners of a restaurant that had become a social media sensation for its flower walls and vibrant cocktails has announced it has closed down but is expected to reopen soon.
The closure of Il Salvatore Restaurant in Brandon was announced by the owners on social media who said they are leaving with a "heavy heart".
Owned by business partners Carlos Magalhaes and Fabio Rodrigues, the restaurant had been open since 2019.
In a post on Facebook, the owners said: "After many years of trading in Brandon we have always found ourselves in really difficult situations in regards to finding staff, no time off for ourselves or our children, no holiday and no personal life.
"After months of debating what the best would be for ourselves and for our little Il Salvatore, we decided to hand Il Salvatore to someone else within our family which will run it the same way we did for many years.
"We apologise for any misunderstanding or lack of communication, but we need to look after ourselves and our family."
The business partners have recently opened a new venue in Norwich which they say has come with some challenges but a vast number of opportunities.
Anyone who has purchased a gift voucher to be used inside Il Salvatore can use it at Silhouette in Norwich.
