A west Norfolk restaurant has been named among the UK's top chippies.
Henry's of Hunstanton was a finalist in the restaurant category at the National Fish and Chip Awards 2023.
It has now been named as the third best in the country after beating off the competition, staying in the running from ten finalists, to five, to three.
The 90-cover restaurant a stone's throw from the seafront opened in 2019 and serves haddock, squid, prawns, sausages, veggie burgers, halloumi and more.
Henry's is also known for the Ed Sheeran lookalike behind the counter. Head fryer Chris Marks-Burton, who runs the kitchen, was mobbed by fans at Wembley after being mistaken for the singer.
Also included in the category's top five was Eric's Fish and Chips in Thornham.
Top spot went to Whitehead's Fish and Chips in East Yorkshire.
The awards are coordinated by the National Federation of Fish Friers, celebrating restaurants, takeaways, newcomers and more.
Henry's of Hunstanton is open from 12pm to 8pm on Thursday, 12pm to 7pm Friday and Saturday and 12pm to 3pm Sunday.
