The first performance to be hosted by a newly launched charity in the Bungay area will be held in March.

The charitable event by New Rock will see singer Alice Armstrong coming to Bungay's St Mary's Church on March 17.

She will also be in the town doing some mentoring and meet and greets.

She is nominated for a number of UK blues awards and has been invited to play on Joe Bonamasa's Blues Cruise later in the year.

The singer will be supported by the Lowestoft band Tupelo Lime.

New Rock was formed with ambitious plans to bring music, radio and production opportunities to Waveney.
