Changes are due to hit the roadworks on the A11 in an attempt to reduce traffic.
National Highways has said that it is planning on reopening roads around the A11 works between Tuttles Interchange and Spooner Row.
The roadworks on the £60m project started in May 2022.
Currently, traffic is managed with a contraflow system that sees vehicles sharing one carriageway when another is shut.

This method worked during the reconstruction of the northern carriageway due to a parallel lane for traffic wishing to join the A11 northbound at the Tuttles Interchange.
But due to the workforce needing enough space to work safely on the southern carriageway, the parallel lane was removed.
In an attempt to reduce traffic, National Highways reopened the Mulbarton slip road last month and is planning on changing the layout of the works to aid with congestion.
The accompanying exit slip road may also be opened for a trial period following preparatory work.
