A man has admitted the theft of £3.5m worth of whiskey in Norfolk.
James Barr, 35, stole Jack Daniels belonging to Richard Johnston Ltd, a warehouse company based at Snetterton.
Barr pleaded guilty to an offence of theft by employee, between July 21 and November 30, 2019 when he appeared at Norwich Crown Court.
He also admitted an offence of transferring criminal property, namely £206, 315 between July 27, 2019 and August 5, 2020.
Barr, of St James Close, Norwich, entered guilty pleas to both offences when he appeared in court last week.
Judge Anthony Bate adjourned sentence in the case until April 21.
Richard Johnston Ltd were contacted after guilty pleas were entered in the case but declined to make a comment.

Barr first appeared at Norwich Magistrates Court in relation to the offences in May last year.
He was was granted bail until sentencing.
