Five pubs in Norfolk are seeking new landlords with one venue dating back to the 14th century.
It comes as pubs across the UK are facing higher prices of alcohol and food costs as well as troubles keeping up with the rise in energy bills amid the ongoing cost of living crisis.
1. Green Dragon
Where: 6 Church Street, Wymondham, NR18 0PH
Following its closure last week, the Green Dragon in Wymondham is looking for a new landlord.
The pub dates back to the 14th century and is a Grade II listed building featuring an open fire, kitchen, function room, a cellar and a beer garden as well as three private bedrooms upstairs.
The annual rent for the Green Dragon is to be confirmed by Admiral Taverns but the security deposit is £5,000 with an investment of £20,000.
2. The York
Where: 1 Leicester Street, Norwich, NR2 2AS
The current team at the Golden Triangle pub announced the closure of the kitchen last month and have since been trying to find new landlords.
The pub remains open for drinks between 3pm and 11pm from Wednesday to Friday, midday to 11pm on Saturdays and midday to 8pm on Sundays.
The pub is listed with the Stonegate Group for £1,017 pcm with a potential turnover of £562,000 pa.
3. Swan Inn
Where: The Street, Long Stratton, NR15 2XG
The Swan Inn in Long Stratton is a two-storey, brick-built building, that dates back to the 17th century.
It is being listed with Everard Cole for £2,500 pcm or £30,000 pa.
The venue is described as a characterful Norfolk free house, served by a central bar that caters for 90 people with extensive private accommodation which could be utilised as letting rooms following refurbishment.
Externally, the property has a sheltered courtyard with artificial turf to the side of the building and space for 30 people.
4. The Ship Inn
Where: 18 The Street, South Walsham, NR13 6DQ
On the market for £400,000 with the Caldcotte Group, the Ship Inn is located in the desirable location of South Walsham, described as "well located for the tourist attractions of the Norfolk Broads and coastline".
The property measures approximately 3,223sqm and the premises feature two principal trade areas that can cover up to 40 people.

5. Aylsham Feathers

This three-bedroom wet-led public house dating back to 1862 features a main bar, snug, trade garden and car park, serving up to 130 visitors.
Leaseholders describe it as an ideal summer holidaymaker destination with a loyal clientele, benefiting from being an established and successful business.
Sidney Phillips lists the property at £25,000 pa with an estimated turnover of circa £190,000 pa.
