A Norfolk heritage railway is celebrating the start of the new season in style by offering half-price tickets for all.
The Bure Valley Railway, which runs between Aylsham and Wroxham, is hosting its Local Saver Weekend over the weekend of March 4 and 5.
The 50pc discount applies to all full-priced fares making it £9.50 for adults and £5 for children.
Trains will run from both stations each day and the Whistlestop Café will be open at Aylsham Station offering a wide range of homemade cakes, snacks and lunches.
The Bure Valley Railway opened in July 1990 and welcomes more than 100,000 visitors a year.
It is built on the trackbed of the former Great Eastern Railway between Wroxham and Aylsham and it originally opened in 1880.
Other upcoming events include Mum Goes Free on March 18 and 19 and the Easter Eggspress from April 1 to 16.
Pre-booking is essential for the Local Saver Weekend, which can be done online or by calling 01263 733858 using code LOCAL5023.
