A city venue has launched a new afternoon tea featuring delicious Easter-themed treats.
The Hoppy Easter Afternoon Tea is available at The Assembly House from Saturday, April 1, to Sunday, April 16.
Head of Pastry Mark Mitson has created an array of cakes guaranteed to give you that spring feeling.
This includes a ‘Keep Calm and Carrott On’ cupcake and a vanilla and raspberry-filled ‘Bunnikins Biscuit’.
A dessert, called ‘Good Egg Easter Nest’, with chocolate mousse, toffee, biscuit crumb and a Mini Egg will be served in a chocolate glass and the four-tiered tea also includes savoury bites.
Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free versions of the tea are available if pre-booked and the Cakeaway Takeaway is bookable by phone up to a month in advance.
In December 2022, The Assembly House was named among the top 100 restaurants in the UK by OpenTable.
The Hoppy Easter Afternoon Tea costs £29.50 per person and children’s afternoon tea for under-12s is £17.95 for a smaller version - book at assemblyhousenorwich.co.uk.
