Efforts are being made to get a mobile food service back on the road.
Councillor Alison Webb, executive member for health and communities at Breckland Council, said the council was working with partners to get the Breckland Mobile Food Store back in operation "very soon".
It comes after the van - which travels around the district selling essential items at a discount - was put in for essential repairs and was expected to be out-of-action until mid-March.
Mrs Webb said: “We are working with our partners to ensure the Breckland Mobile Food Service is back in operation very soon.
"Our team have been proactively contacting all members of Breckland Mobile Food Store to ensure this valuable service provision continues.
"The food bus has always been about much more than just food, so we’re also sending out leaflets with information about the range of other support available, including services provided by the council, how to access mental health support, and financial assistance."
The service, which was launched last May, includes on-board staff giving advice on debt management, isolation, loneliness and mental health.
