Drones have been used to hunt a man who was trespassing on rail lines in north Norfolk.
Police were called to reports of a man on the tracks at North Walsham railway station at around 10.15am today (February 16).
Officers used drones to track down the suspect and people living in the area reported seeing them above their homes.
A man in his 30s was arrested and taken to Aylsham police station where was dealt with by British Transport Police.
The 10.46am Greater Anglia service from Sheringham to Norwich was delayed due to the incident.
Network Rail and the British Transport Police are now using bird's eye views of the railway to help find trespassers quickly, reducing dangers and preventing delays.
The drones are fitted with cameras with high-quality zoom and thermal imaging to speed up the process of finding suspects.
Trespassers can be fined £1,000 but also risk their lives.
